Batu Tara, Komba Island, Indonesia

Based on observations of satellite imagery and pilot reports, the Darwin VAAC reported that during 19-22 June, low-level ash plumes from Batu Tara rose to an altitude of 1.5 km (5,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted NW and W. A thermal anomaly was noted on satellite imagery on 20 June.
